International Yoga Day

The 7th International Day of Yoga was celebrated at DSPS through the online mode keeping in view the pandemic situation. Practicing yoga every day is essential for our good health. Regular yoga practice creates mental clarity and calmness; increases body awareness; relieves chronic stress patterns; relaxes the mind; centres attention; and sharpens concentration. To inspire our children to practise yoga everyday this day was celebrated with great vigour by conducting an online yoga workshop for parents, teachers, and students. The simple yoga asanas help in maintaining mind and body balance. Through this workshop everyone was thoroughly invigorated.

Yoga is not a religion, but it is a way of life, a way of living towards a healthy mind in a healthy body.
