The 75th Independence Day was celebrated in our school with the spirit of the brave freedom fighters who fought for the freedom of our country. It was a day where the essence of patriotism was at its zenith among all students and teachers. The physical event was conducted at the school campus from 9 am to 11am. The event was graced by our Chief Guest, the Honourable Joint Secretary of Dayananda Sagar Institutions, Mr Rohan Prem Sagar. The programme commenced by the hoisting of the National Flag and singing of the National Anthem. The programme then continued with the cultural events performed by the students and teachers. Following the cultural events, our esteemed Chief Guest announced the winners of the India Quiz. The event was concluded by distributing sweets to everyone.
Various activities were also conducted through the online mode for students –
• For classes 1 and 2 – Drawing and Fancy-dress competition.
• For classes 3 to 5 – Drawing, Poem writing and Craft competition.
• For classes 6 to 8 – Drawing and craft, essay writing and poem writing competitions.
