India celebrates July 1 as ‘National Doctor’s Day’ commemorating the iconic and internationally renowned medical practitioner, Dr Bidhan Chandra Roy who served as a physician, a freedom fighter, an educationist and a politician. At DSPS, we celebrated the day to spread awareness among the learners about how doctors selflessly and tirelessly work for the people of the society. The school organised various events through the online mode to commemorate Doctor’s Day.
For classes I and IV:
• Drawing on the theme of ‘Building the Future with Family Doctors’
• Creating a Thank You greeting card for doctors
• Writing a poem on Doctors.
For classes V to VIII:
• Writing a speech on – My Visit to a Doctor/ National Doctor’s Day/ Dr B C Roy, a legendary physician
